Large Sunfish Caught

A sunfish weighing 6251 b. was caught after an hour and a-half fight by Mr. J. T. Green when fishing off Whangaroa last week-end. Mr. Green’s catch was most unusual, as the sunfish usually does not take bait. Other catches were a tiger shark of 2801 b. by Mrs. A. E. Tindale and a 2851 b. mako by Flight-Lieutenant Fisher.
