MILITARY APPOINTMENTS DISTRICT INTEREST Several appointments and promotions of district interest in the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and the New Zealand military forces are contained in the latest Gazette. Forces Overseas Lieutenant W. A. Pyatt relinquishes the appointment of aide-de-camp to the General Officer Commanding. Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force, and ceases to be seconded. Second-Lieutenant J. L. Griffiths, 32nd (Wellington) Battalion, is appointed aide-de-camp to the General Officer Commanding, Headquarters. Second New Zealand Division, and is seconded.
Lieutenant C. W. Butterfield, New Zealand Army Service Corps, to be captain to colnplete establishment. New Zealand Temporary Staff Second-Lieutenant (temporary) R C. Hislop, Hawke’s Bay Regiment, to be lieutenant (temporary). Second-Lieutenant (temporary) J. L. Williams, Hawke’s Bay Regiment to be second lieutenant (temporary), New Zealand Temporary Staff. Lance Marshall Parsons to be second lieutenant (temporary), Hawke's Bay Regiment, and is posted to the First Cadet Battalion.
