NIGHT SHIFT RATES Night shifts were again worked b\ Auckland waterside wdikei's tills week. Double rates were paid from Monday to Friday last week for night shifts. Rates of. pay have still .not beer settled, arid the matter is, Under discussion in Wcliiitgton. Tlib double rates being paid for the night shift .ire 5s ltd. an hour. The men claim that they were promised Sundav rates. 7s 4d. an hour, but are continuing working the night shifts while the matter is being discussed by the authorities.
