TOKOMARU GUN CLUB CAMERON WINS TWO CUPS At a shoot held by the Tokomaru Bay Gun Club at the week-end at Tatapouri, the main event of the day, the Morere Cup was won by K. Cameron for the third time. He also won the Cup presented by Mr. L. Jackson. A. Mossman was the runner-up in both these events. It was decided that the next shoot, for the Poverty Bay single and double rise championship, will take place on April 20. Scores were as follows: — No. 1 Match, six birds (19 entries).— A. R. Churches, 14yds, and W. Oates, 18yds, each shot the possible and divided first and second money. K. Cameron, 20yds, G. Dewes, 12yds, G. Smyth, 11yds, and L. Parker, 13yds, all with five, divided third money. No. 2 Match, 10 bird handicap.-—W. 11. Ellis, 13yds, shot the possible. R. Craill, G. Dewes, Rex Oates and W. Oates, all 19yds, broke nine. Stakes on the first five birds were divided by R. Craill, H. F. Smyth, N. B. Smith and Ellis all with five, and in the second section, K. Cameron, Rex Oates, G. Dewes, W. 11. Ellis and W. Oates, all with five, divided the stakes. No. 3 Match, Morere Cup, 21-bird handicap (14 entries). —K. Cameron, 19yds, 20 breaks, 1; A. Mossman, 16yds, 17, 2; G. A. Papworth, 16yds, and W. H. Ellis, 13yds, tied, 16 breaks, 3. Stakes sections were divided as follows: —First Section: W. H. Ellis with seven, first money; Cameron, Craill, Mossman, Papworth, six, divided second and third money. Second Section: K. Cameron, seven, 1; H. F. Smyth, six, 2; Rex Oates, Mossman, Papworth, W. Oates and Ellis with five, tied, for third. No. 4 Match, Jackson Cup, 15-birds Handicap (13 entries):—K. Cameron, 14, 1; A. Mossman, 13, 2; Rex Oates, 12, R. H. Porter, 12, tie, 3.
