CONDITION GRAVE

EX-KING OF SPAIN DEATH REPORT DENIED (Reed. Feb. 24. 2 p.m.) LONDON,' Feb. 23 Doctors in Rome issued a bulletin to-night stating that the condition of ex-King Alfonso.of Spain continued to be grave but that the most alarming symptoms have abated. Intimate friends denied a Buenos Aires report which stated that the press attache of the Spanish Embassy, in a communique, announced that exKing Alfonso had died. They said that ex-King Alfonso listened to Signor Mussolini’s speech. The reports of ex-King Alfonso’s death were apparently premature. A Rome message gives a bulletin issued by Doctor Frugoni to-day as follows: “No change in condition since last night.”
