DEATH NOT CONFIRMED REPORT FROM VICHY (Reed. Feb. 24, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 23. The Vichy radio yesterday reports that- ex-King Alfonso of Spain has died in Rome, but a report from Rome says that ex-King Alfonso, noticing his family around him, said: “What, am I as bad as that. I had better have a priest.” He received Extreme Unction and prayed for the return of the Monarchy in Spain. Ex-King Alfonso’s condition has been unchanged since Friday.
