“WILL TURN SCALE”
U.S. WAR SUPPLIES FULL BLAST BY SEPTEMBER (Reed. Feb. 22, 10 a.m.) LISBON, Feb. 21. The general secretary of the Trades Union Congress, Sir Walter Citrine, in an interview on his arrival by the Clipper from the United States, said that American production added to the British would undoubtedly turn the’scale, “but it cannot be in full swing until September.” The big labour movements had promised the closest co-operation.
