NAVAL CASUALTIES

LOSS OF SOUTHAMPTON 93 OFFICERS AND MEN (Reed. Feb. 17, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 16. The casualties in H.M.S. Southampton, which was sunk in the Mediterranean following an air attack, were 20 officers killed, two died of wounds and one wounded, and 48 ratings missing, presumed killed, four died of wounds and seven wounded, also six marines missing and three wounded. The canteen manager is missing presumed killed, and his assistant was wounded, making a total of 93.
