TOTAL NOW £4,208,000 GIFTS FROM OVERSEAS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Jan. 12. The Red Cross fund for the war sick and wounded now stands at £4,208,000, an increase in the past week of £14,000. The week produced many gifts from overseas, including £3OOO from Rio de Janeiro, making a total of £34,400, £1650 from the Philippines making £5600. £-l-500 -from making £33,669. and £ISOO from Hong Kong making £27.441.
