PRODUCE STORES

BUILDINGS PLANNED MATERIALS AVAILABLE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day It was learned to-day that both plans and material were ready for the construction of stores to provide increased space in New Zealand to meet any unusual demands by the delays in shipment referred to by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, on Sunday night. The Minister of Marketing, the Hon. W. Nash, informed a Post reporter today that the possible necessity for extra storage was realised some months ago and, as a result of conferences with the interested parties, preparations had been made for the erection of additional space. The materials had been secured and work would be pushed ahead.
