Soldiers’ Club

The Soldiers’ Club in Gisborne is being well used by members of the military forces, who greatly appreciate the facilities provided. A further effort in the entertainment of those at present, on leave from camp will be a dance on Friday night, when an opportunity will be taken to farewell the men returning to camp a few days later. Arrangements for the function are being made by the Women’s Auxiliary Service, and with Miss Kay and Mrs. Arnold Chrisp in control much enthusiasm is being shown by the workers, whose services are greatly appreciated by the executive of the club.
