DEFENCES OF EIRE
CONTROL OF PORTS INVASION PRECAUTION (Reed. Dec. 21, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 20. The ports of Galway and Sligo are to be placed under military control. In announcing, this the Eire Minister of Defence, Mr. F. Aiken, said it was another step in the preparation of Eire against invasion.
