GISBORNE DEFENCE CLUB . i POSSIBLES SCORED Highly creditable performances were put up by two' marksmen on Saturday afternoon, when the Gisborne Defence Rifle Club held its weekly shoot on the Mangapapa •range, over the 500 and 6‘OOyds 'distances. R. Bull and R. Dolman both scored the possible at 500yds, and at GOOyds the former dropped only one of his shots, missing the possible of 70 by..one_ point Details . were:—R. Bull, 500yds 35, 000yds 34 (scr.), total 09; R. Burson, 33, 32 (1), 66; W. J. Burton, 33, 33 (scr.), 66; R. Dolman, 35, 30 (1), 60; C. Lloyd, 30, 31 (4), 65; N.. JacksOn, 28, 28 (8), 64; F. J. Jeune, 32, 31 (scr.), 63; S. Parkes, 28, 28 (4), 60; A. Thomas, 32, 24 (2), 58; P. Foss, 29, 26 (2), 57. During the week there has been only one change in the five leading scorers in the club’s aggregate championship. R. Bull has moved up from third place to take second place equal with W. J. Burton. Details of the present five leading scorers are: F. J. Jeune, 529; R. Bull, and W. J. “Burton, 528; R. Dolman, 513; P. Foss, 503.
