RACE FROM TAKAPAU WIN FOR J. MCLEAN The Poverty Bay Central Homing Pigeon Society conducted a three-clock-two race from Takapau, an airline distance of 133 miles, at the week-end. Weather conditions were ideal, and excellent times w&re recorded. The winner was J. McLean’s team, with a flying time of 3hr. 23min. and a Velocity tit 115Ci.3jds per minute.
