The amazing life and loves of Lillian Russell were headline news in her day, and the picture, it is claimed, makes it eas> to realise 'why the beautiful actress was so famous and the songs of hei day so popular. Some of the songs that, are sung in the picture include "After the Ball is Over,” “Rosie, You Are Mv Posie," “The Band Played On,” (“Strawberry Blond”), “My Evening Star,” "Adored One,” and “Blue Love Birds.” Also featured in “Lillian Russell’’ are such outstanding screen personalities as Edwaro Arnold (as Diamond Jim Brady).
