TERRITORIAL SERVICE ROUTINE EXEMPTION NO MEDICAL EXAMINATION A number of Gisborne < and East Coast men who were drawn in the ballot for territorial training have had their names deleted from the list for various reasons. Some have enlisted for overseas service in one or anolher branch of the services, and others have appeared before medical boards and been found permanently unfit. Others, again, have been removed from the Sub No. 7c area list because of changes of address, while another smaller proportion have been reserved by the man-power committee as members of ( essential trades or professions. Those not examined by medical boards in Gisborne, in consequence of routine exemptions, were as under: — Beattile, A. W. C., grade 11, special force. Borlase, C., in camp, 4th Echelon. Bright, E.
