FUTURE WORLD PEACE

EMPIRE AND AMERICA The view that the pooling of bases and other resources by the British Empire and America was the only means of guaranteeing world peace in the future was expressed by Mr. Frank Milner, rector of Waitaki Boys’ High School, in an address in Wellington on Anglo-American co-operation. Mr. Milner spoke under the auspices of the New Zealand section of the BritishAmerican Co-operation Movement. Introducing the speaker, Mr. J. S. Barton, a vice-president of the section, said the movement had been established in Australia some time ago and had only recently been inaugurated in New Zealand, where it had met with a gratifying response.
