NAZI PRISON CAMP WINNER OF THE V.C. (Reed. Oct. 23, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 22. The wife of. the Victoria Cross winner, Lance-Corporal Nicholls, has received a letter from her husband 75 days after its dispatch from a prison camp in Germany. The letter was posted on August 7, which was the day after the wife had received from the King the Victoria Cross awarded to Lance-Corporal Nicholls, who was then thought to have been killed.
