RATIONING OF PETROL
SYDNEY, Oct. 19. The State Liquid Fuel Control Board has received about 20,000 appeals from Owners and drivers of motor vehicles against their petrol allowance. These appeals are being examined. The manager of the All_ British Cab Service, Mr. P. M. Ackland, said that if the rationing ■ scheme was retained at least 600 cab-drivers would lose their employment.
