ELECTRICAL WIRING WORK WAIROA WARNING (Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. The danger created by persons coming into the district and carrying out electrical wiring without a permit, were referred to at the monthly meeting of the Wairoa Electric-Power Board yesterday. , . ; The question was raised by Mr. WTait, who asked the board’s engineer. Mr. C. J. P. Drewitt, if he had in- J spected work done at Morere recently. The engineer stated that a person had been -working there and had not completed the job. The engineer added that he was investigating the trouble. “It is time a stop is put to it once and for all,” stated Mr. E. H. Glendining. Here, he said, was a case where a person came into the district and did not obtain a permit for wiring. In his opinion the party that did that should be prosecuted. Mr. Tait expressed the view that it was not a fair thing to the board’s engineer. The board decided that whenever the necessary information was available, the parties, whoever they may be, should be prosecuted immediately.
