They believed that right would prevail and although the path to victory might involve sacrifice and suffering, they should be enabled to tread it bravely, he proceeded. Their thoughts went out to the church of the Old Land—the church from which they had sprung—and they offered fellow churchmen and churclnvomen their sincere sympahty and prayers in thentrials and sufferings.
