DEMANDS IN SYRIA
ITALIAN COMISSION RESISTANCE TO ALLIES (Reed. Oct. 2.2 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 1. The Italian armistice commission in Syria is demanding that all shore batteries on the Syrian coast shall be kept ready for action as protection against aerial attack and Allied landings, states a message from Istanbul.
