MR. GEORGE ROBERTSON

DEATH IN AUCKLAND The death occurred in Auckland on Monday after a short illness of Mr. George Robertson, formerly well known in the baking trade in Gisborne. He was 69 /years of age. Mr. Robertson was born in the Waikato, and after passing through school he took up work in the baking business, and subsequently was in business on his own account in Auckland and Taumarunui. He came to Gisborne before the last war and conducted his business here until four ypars ago, when he retired and went to Auckland. He is survived by Mrs. Robertson and two sons and two dauchters. Mesdames J. Carter and J. Halliday, Auckland, and Mr. Alex. Robertson, Auckland, and Mr. P. Robertson, Gisborne. Much sympathy will be felt for the widow and family.
