LEAGUE OF MOTHERS ‘ (Herald Correspondent.) - The annual meeting of the Hauit! branch of the League of Mothers was held at the home of Mrs. C. Parker recently. A report was received from Mrs. Harris on the Maori and scattered branches section of the league. The electiop of officers resulted:— President, Miss M. Goddard: secretary, Mrs. G. Noanoa; committee, Mesdames C. Parker, Puhipahi and Grey. . The meeting ended with a social hour and afternoon tea served by the hostess. It was decided that the tenth birthday of the league should be celebrated next month at Te Rawhero, Hauiti. Messrs. Gordon Wilson and Barnfield, of the staff of the Union Bank of Australia, have been notified of their transfer to lhe Auckland branch.
