PATRIOTIC RUGBY

WAIROA’S PROGRAMME (Spocial to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. Rugby “fans” should be well pleased with the arrangements for their entertainment at Lambton Square to-mor-row when an attractive programme of seven-a-side, burlesque and serious Rugby has been arranged. The proceeds from the effort will be donated to the patriotic fund, as the Wairoa Rugby effort. The serious match should be one of the finest seen in the district this season, when the teams meet for the Eastern v. Western Cup. Seven-a-side matches will be played for the juniors, thirds, fourths and schools. The burlesque match in Nuhaka last Saturday lias roused much interest and a big crowd is expected to see the return encounter.
