AMERICAN JOURNALISTS PARTY IN CLIPPER • (Reed. Aug. 8, 2.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 7. Representatives of eight United States news agencies, newspapers and feature services are going to New Zealand on the Clipper from San Francisco on August 10 and will then go to Australia as guests of the Commonwealth Government for at least five days, thence via Darwin to the Dutch East Indies, Singapore and Hong Kong, returning aboard the China Clipper. The invitation to Australia was extended at the suggestion of the Australian Minister in Washington, Mr. R. G. Casey, when it was known the newspapermen would be guests of Pan-American Airways on the New Zealand route opening.
