INFORMATION MINISTRY MR. FRANK PICK CHOSEN (Reed. Aug. 8, 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 7. The vice-chairman of the London Transport Board, Mr. Frank Pick, the organiser of the evacuation of London last September, has been appointed director-general of the Ministry of Information. He succeeds Sir Kenneth Lee, who has resigned.
