TRADE RESTRICTIONS (Reed. July 27, 1 p.m.) SHANGHAI, July 26. Japanese restrictions have halted all activities of American traders in North China. The British, reportedly under Japanese pressure, have closed down the United States marine radio at Tientsin, this taking effect as from August 20. The Japanese have declared foreign areas “in' bounds’’ to Japanese soldiers, arousing foreign fears of a multiplication of incidents.
