HARBOUR BOARD LOSS

MR. T. CORSON’S DEATH TRIBUTE BY COLLEAGUES The recent death of Mr. Thomas Corson, one of the oldest members of the Gisborne Harbour Board, was referred to with deep regret when the board held its monthly meeting to-day. Mr. Corson had been deputy-chairman for the past year, and at the May meeting he whs reappointed to that post. Before opening the business, the chairman, Mr. A. J. Nicol, paid a tribute to Mr. Corson, stating that he had been a valued member of the board and their esteemed friend. On the motion of Mr. Nicol. the board recorded its sympathy with the widow and family of the deceased.
