RHODESIAN PILOT OPERATIONS IN NORWAY (British Official Wireless.) Reed. noon. RUGBY,, June 10How a young Rhodesian pilot defended an Allied force in Norway from an air attack was revealed today On May 15 Flight Lieutenant C. B. Hull, who was born at Shanganis, Rhodesia, engaged five enemy aircraft single-handed, shooting down four and damaging the fifth. By this highly successful action he relieved the Bodo force from attack. Next day this pilot was again in action when once-more he attacked greatly superior numbers of enemy aircraft, continuing to fight until he was so badly wounded that he was forced to retire Flight-Lieutenant Hull has been awarded the D.F.C.
