STORE CATTLE FIRM SALE IN MORRINSVILLE The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, reports that at the Morrinsville stock sale on Friday store cattle from Wairarapa and southern districts came forward in good order and included many pens of good quality Polled Angus and Hereford bullocks. There was a large attendance of buyers, with spirited bidding throughout, a total clearance being effected at satisfactory prices. Forward conditioned Polled Angus steers sold from £8 18s to £9; 4-year Shorthorn steers, £7 18s to £8 7s; 3vear Polled Angus steers, £8 Is to £8 16s; lesser conditioned, £7 2s to £7 10s; 3-year Hereford steers, £7 2s to £8; 2-year Polled Angus steers, £5 10s to £0 10s; smaller, £4 10s to £5 7s; small 2-year Hereford steers, £4 3s to £4 6s; 2-year Hereford heifers, £4 14s, empty P.A. cows, £2 19s to £5 2s; mixed coloured steers, £4 15s to £5 17s.
