N.C.O. TRAINING

MEN FOR TRENTHAM FOURTH ECHELON RANK DEPARTURE TO-MORROW Men selected for advance training with a view to their qualifying for non-commissioned rank in the Fourth Echelon are to go into camp at Trentham to-morrow, and will enter the central district training school immediately. The Gisborne selections will leave at 2 a.m., and will travel to Trentham in the one day. Of a total of 42 men chosen from the whole of the No. 7 military area, which includes Napier, Hastings, Waipukurau, Dannevirke. Woodville and Masterlon, a contribution of 23 has been levied on Gisborne, the Coast and Wairoa. The last-named town is especially well represented, and will send a good party of partially-trained N.C.O.s from the Wairoa troop of the East Coast Mounted Rifles. Mitchell, W. A., Tolaga Bay. McAneney, I. A., Gisborne. Men from Wairoa, who will join the draft at the Wairoa railway station to-morrow morning, comprise:— Benton, G. H., Wairoa. Hutchinson, E. Y. Gisborne members of the draft will assemble at the Abercorn Hall at 1 a.m. to-morrow, and will leave at 2 a.m., after a check of the personnel and a brief farewell function,
