N.C.O. TRAINING
MEN FOR TRENTHAM FOURTH ECHELON RANK DEPARTURE TO-MORROW Men selected for advance training with a view to their qualifying for non-commissioned rank in the Fourth Echelon are to go into camp at Trentham to-morrow, and will enter the central district training school immediately. The Gisborne selections will leave at 2 a.m., and will travel to Trentham in the one day. Of a total of 42 men chosen from the whole of the No. 7 military area, which includes Napier, Hastings, Waipukurau, Dannevirke. Woodville and Masterlon, a contribution of 23 has been levied on Gisborne, the Coast and Wairoa. The last-named town is especially well represented, and will send a good party of partially-trained N.C.O.s from the Wairoa troop of the East Coast Mounted Rifles. Gisborne members of the draft will assemble at the Abercorn Hall at 1 a.m. to-morrow, and will leave at 2 a.m., after a check of the personnel and a brief farewell function,
