COAST V. POVERTY BAY TO-MORROW’S REP. GAME RECONSTRUCTED TEAM Owing to a few of the players nominated earlier in the week being unable to represent Poverty Bay in the first match of the season against East Coast to-morrow, the selector, Mr. P. C. Edmondson, has been obliged to reconstruct the side, which now consists ot the following players: — Full-back, B. Malone; three-quarters, R. Short, W. Smiler and A Read; fiveeighths, M. Smiler and, R. Carroll; half-back, S. Lee; front-row forwards, T. Stevens, T. McGuflic, and W. Hayes; middle-row forwards, C. McCrannichan, R. Rogers, M. O’Brien, and Cl. Wrightson; back-row forward, M. O'Rourke; emergencies, A. Campbell and W. Torrie, forwards, and J. O'Rourke and C. O'Rourke, backs. The East Coast team will take the field practically as selected in anticipation of the King's Birthday match, which was postponed. The personnel is:—Full-back, Overton; three-quart-ers, E. Tuhoro, M. Tuheke, and G.. Walker; five-eighths, R. White and J. Baker; half-back, J. Mcllroy; frontrow forwards, T. McClutchie, K. McClutchie, and S. Pewhairangi; middlerow forwards, T. Crawford, E. Pahuru, A. Lockwood, and A. Lincoln; backrow forward, D Tuhoro; reserves, J. Smith and J. Milligan. The Poverty Bay selector has called on players of the senior district team to assemble at the Oval at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
