An announcement that Mr. W. E. Anderson, Auckland, recently appointed to succeed Mr. T. O. Bishop as secretary of the New Zealand Employers' Federation, had enlisted’ for military service and had been passed as fit by the military authorities was made at the annual meeting of the Wellington Employers’ Association. The secretary, Mr. W. J. Mountjoy, said that Mr. Anderson expected to be relieved from his work on the Court of Arbitration on June 1, and would then go immediately into the military service.
