PROGRESSIVE CARDS (Herald Correspondent.) On Thursday evening the Bartletts Y.M.C.A. supper-room was filled tor a progressive live-hundred tournament in aid of the Social Club, which .provides comforts for the local boys in ihe military forces. Play was enjoyed at 10 tables. Mrs. J. French secured the ladies' prize and Mr. F. Howard the gentlemen's prize. Other prizes were won by Mrs. E. Poole and Mr. Scott. A cake was won by Miss Mary Jackson. Mr. T. O’Donnell, assisted by Mr. F. Mulligan, controlled the games. Supper was provided by members of the ladies’ committee.
