Fast Aeroplane Journey

Leaving Dunedin by the Union Airways machine Kalca and transferring to the Kahu at Wellington, an official of the company on Tuesday took only three hours and a-quartei' flying time to reach Auckland. A strong southerly wind which prevailed throughout the greater part of the journey was responsible for the fast time.
