Our City Fathers
Sir,—l noticed in your columns that the borough councillors had been' invited to take seats on the platform for the public meeting held last Wednesday to express an opinion on war measures. They were conspicuous by their absence. Why? Not even the übiquitous ’Erb showed up. Perhaps there is N -an excuse for him; lie must realise lie is now an “old crock.” CURIOUS.
