DOVER EVACUATION
SAFETY AREAS CURFEW FOR ALIENS (Reed. May 31, 9 a.m.) LONDON, May 30. Dover families have begun an unofficial evacuation of the town. Trains filled with mothers and children left ail day for safety areas. It is officially announced that all home service balloon barrage units are being armed. The Home Office has ordered that from June 3 all aliens over 1G are to be subject tb curfew between 10.30 p.m. and 6 a.m., except ih London, where the Curfew is from midnight tili 6 a.m. Aliens are not allowed to pdssess bicycles, cars, seacraft or aircraft, and must either sell or hand them over to the police. House occupiers must notify the police if aliens stay for the night. Permits are necessary for the aliens wishing to absent themselves from their homes overnight. Permits will be granted only for business or in cases of exceptional hardship. Unnecessary travel will be discouraged. The curfew restrictions on vehicles similarly will be relaxed by permit only in exceptional circumstances.
