U.S. HOSPITAL RAZED

BOMBED BY GERMANS WOUNDED MEN KILLED (British Ofliciiil Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.in. RUGBY, May 29. It is learned in London that the Belgian Ambassador in Paris has confirmed the news received in Paris yesterday of the aerial bombardment of the American hospital at Ostend as well as a hospital installed 'at the Hotel de l’Ocean, where thousands of wounded have been cared for under the surveillance of Queen Elizabeth. The Belgian Embassy has already received evidence of an eye-witness who will certify that the wounded in the hospitals were killed by bombs which brought about the collapse of the building before they could be removed. Dr Gros, of the American Hospital in Paris, says that the American Hospital in Ostend was primarily a war hospital established in the last war, but, thanks to ample support from American and Belgian sources, it had been put on a permanent basis. It was first bombed two weeks ago and finally destroyed yesterday.
