SPLENDID RESPONSE
AUSTRALIAN WAR LOAN (.Reed. May 31. noon) SYDNEY, May 31. Among large contributions to the war loan yesterday, the Commonwealth Superannuation Board and the Colonial Sugar Refining Company each applied for £500,000. It is expected that the whole £20,000,000 required will be obtained in the next few days.
