ROAD RACE
GISBORNE HARRIERS Much interest bar. been shown by members cf iiie harrier section of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club in the road race to be held from the club rooms, Derby street, to-morrow afternoon. This race is the first distance for the Beattie Cup. which, is competed for on a handicap basis over three different courses. Handicaps for the race to-morro-.v have been announced as follows:D. Lougher, 7min,; I. Ollivcr, 4min. sec.; H. Patterson and N. Frahner. 3min ; G. Thompson and G. Harrier. 2piin. 45see.; F. Forge. 2min/ A. Remand R. Howard, Imin. D. Sweeney and K. Mcr-e. Imin. Iosco.: R„ Beattie and G. Clark, imin.; C. Parkinson and T. Turley, sea. Competitors have been requested la be at the club rooms at 2 p.m.
