NEED FOR CONSCRIPTION OAMARU APPEAL (Per Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. A big meeting of Oamaru citizens packed the Town Hall last night to hear addresses by prominent citizens. The assemblage passed a resolution urging the formation of a National Government and conscription of the whole country’s man-power and resources.
