NAVAL PROTECTION
AMERICAN INTERESTS (Reed. May 30, 11.15 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 29. It is announced that the United States cruiser Vincennes and the destroyers Truxton and Simpson are en route to Lisbon to “protect American interests.” It is added that they aie not convoying any merchantmen.
