Not Regarded as Menace
The incidence of deer and their ravages on farms and in the bush of the Rotorua district have recently been investigated by the Department of Internal Affairs, following the visit of the Hon. W. E. Parry, Minister of Internal Affairs, to Rotorua. It has been decided that the deer are not a menace there as they arc in some parts of the country and that the shooting carried out by farmers and sportsmen is fully capable of' controlling the animals,
