DAIRY PRODUCTION
NORTHLAND DRIVE STATE AID NEEDED (I’pj- Press Association.) WHANGAREI, this day. A conference of representatives of every dairy company in Northland was held yesterday. Delegates expressed the opinion that, in view of the cutting off of dairy produce supplies from the Baltic States to Britain, the New ‘Zealand Government be urged to give the utmost support to Northland increased production committees which are being set up to stimulate a rapid increase in export production, if the Government will provide the necessary financial support.
