MEASURE IN FIJI
WORKERS’ COMPENSATION GENERAL ELECTION DATE (Reed. May 28, 2.40 p.m.) SUVA, May 28. The Fiji Legislative Council passed the Workmen's Compensation Act, which is being introduced in Fiji for the first time. It will not apply to agriculture or coconut plantations. The minimum claim in event of death is £IOO and the maximum £6OO. The Fiji general election will be held in July.
