NORTHERN STEAMSHIP A marked improvement in earnings and the restoration of a dividend are the features of the accounts of the Northern Steamship Company, Limitid, for the year ended March 31. Net profit, after providing for depreciation, taxation and contingencies, was £4522, compared with a loss of £7 in the previous year. The directors recommend that £ll2B should be placed to reserve and that a distribution of -j per cent, requiring £3390, should be made to shareholders.
