SOCIAL CLUB CONCERT I ' V ■ " -•- (Hcraltl Com , sj>ondunt.) On Saturday night the 1 Patutabi Hall was filled for a function'held in bid of the Social Club, which pro-: vicles the comforts for the local boys: in the military forces. An enthusiastic audience thoroughly, enjoyed the concert part of the pro-: graimme arranged by Mrs, Elliott and--50 well-trained performers. After supper dancing ‘ was enjoyed,: music being'supplied by Mrs. Elliott and Messrs. J. While and M. Barber. In 'the absence of Mrs. :T.'Peel, Mrs.W.'N. Walker '•presented Mrs. Eiliotti with a bouquet and thanked nef for her help. Bhe invited all the ’ladies of the district to assist the club. Oh behalf of the members of the concert party, Mrs. I. Morrow presented Mrs. Elliott with a bouquet. Mrs. G. Noble-Campbcll, and her two children arc the guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Walkers—Miss I.' Speight, who has been-on an extended holiday in the South Island is now the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. McCullough, Waipukuruu,—Miss E. Loiigher, who is on leave from her duties at the Cook Hospital, is Hid guest of her sister, Mrs. F. llabgood.'
