LANDING IN EIRE?
NAZI PARACHUTISTS POLICE DISCOVERIES MASS OF INFORMATION (Reed. May 25, 3 p.m.) DUBLIN, May 25. An open used parachute together with a radio transmitting receiving set and military equipment of German origin were found by the police in a house in County Dublin. This was revealed in a special criminal court when the occupier of the house was remanded on chargse under the emergency powers. The police raided the house on Wednesday night _and found also documents and maps referring to Irish harbours, aerodromes, roads and bridges, the disposition of the defence forces, a secret code, and a box containing 20,000 United States dollars. The occupier of the house allegedly made a statement saying that a stranger came to the house on Sunday night and asked to be accommodated for a short period. The stranger disappeared on Wednesday.
